One-Year Warranty Terms (Same Terms Apply to the 2 or 3 Year Warranties as well!)
OUR FABULOSO AFFORDAMAC® STANDARD WARRANTY
Every item that you purchase from us is warrantied for one-year from the date of purchase by Affordamac. All our Apple/Mac® products are tested and certified, but on the teeny tiny chance something goes wrong, and it’s covered under this warranty, then at our option we’ll repair your item or give you equivalent credit on an exchange up to the maximum value you paid for the item. All you have to do is contact us and provide proof of purchase.
Most importantly we’re here to help you and to make you a happy customer. We promise that if you’re trying to return something covered by this warranty and it’s all on the up and up, the coverage provided will be easy and quick.
If you buy something then drop/break/spill on/burn/explode/or run over it, that’s not included in our warranty. Basically, if you break it you’ve bought it. If it comes with something broken, we’ll make it right under the terms of our warranty up to the maximum value you paid for the item.
YEP, COVERED BY WARRANTY
Our warranty covers all mechanical and electrical failures that occur during normal use and service, subject to the limitations below, for:
• Laptops (MacBook®, MacBook Pro®, etc.) desktops (Mac Pro®, iMac® etc.), iPhones®, iPads®.
• Hard drives, RAM, optical drives, logic boards, power adapters, anything that stops working not due to any physical or liquid damage or as limited below. Batteries are covered for 90-days, then it becomes a consumable part meant to be replaced by the consumer.
• You get 100% parts and labor coverage with zero deductibles.
NOPE, NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY
We don’t cover items that are accidentally or intentionally damaged, such as by:
• Dropping, water damage or spilling on, sitting on, immersion in food or liquids, tripping while walking down stairs holding a coffee and texting, or otherwise destroying your Mac®.
• Cracked screens, physical or cosmetic damage that didn’t exist prior to purchase or damage resulting from normal wear and tear.
We don’t cover accessories and parts that are meant to be replaced by the consumer or scratches on any plastic surfaces and externally exposed parts resulting from normal use or items with labels removed or illegible serial numbers.
We don’t cover software issues. We will help you trouble-shoot the issue, though, to determine if it’s a software or hardware issue.
We don’t cover defects or damage resulting from use of the item in other than its normal and customary manner; from misuse, accident or neglect or fraudulent misrepresentation; from improper testing, operation, maintenance, installation, adjustment or any alteration or modification of any kind; or items disassembled or repaired in such a manner as to adversely affect performance or prevent adequate inspection and testing to verify any warranty claim; or items located outside the United States or used commercially.
AND FINALLY . . .
This Agreement is extended to you as the original buyer only and so you cannot assign or transfer it to subsequent buyers and it is not renewable.
WE WILL NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOST TIME, LOST DATA RESULTING FROM THE BREAKDOWN OR FAILURE OF ANY ITEM OR FROM DELAYS IN SERVICING OR THE INABILITY TO RENDER SERVICE ON ANY COVERED ITEM. EXCLUSION IS MADE OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND THERE ARE NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES MADE HEREIN.
Unless amended by the State Specific Provisions, this Agreement is the entire agreement between us and no representation, promise or condition not contained in the Agreement shall modify these terms.
